It's not been a good evening. I came home from work to find that my 5 year old daughter had "cleaned" my brand new 19 inch Samsung flat screen monitor with a leather cleaner & conditioner sponge containing coconut and jojoba oils. It was also enriched with aloe vera. After "administering" the appropriate punshment, I put her to bed early, and have been cleaning the leather cleaner off for about an hour. ARGH!

This will be a future memory one day.

Added cheesy web counter....and away we go.

Two fun search engine toys to try:

gnod: a search engine for things you don't know about yet.

Also try touchgraph: a google what's related toy.

Added another screenshot...
Maybe once I get in some kind of routine with this, then I will be able to think of something clever to say on here every once in a while.

Maybe not though.

testing 1, 2, 3 .......Welcome to my weblog. This is my first weblog post. I don't really know what I might have to say in a weblog; but I guess I will find out how much I like using this.

My main webpage at dsyates.home.mindspring.com
is a collection of linux bookmarks -- over 3600 of them I think.
I also have a page with non-linux releated content at dsyates.home.mindspring.com/old

Here is a neat link to try out....
