I was laid off yesterday. I do believe it is the sadest thing that has ever happened to me outside of a death of a close relative. I worked there for 8 1/2 years. The people in my department were a family to me. Everyone of them means more to me than they will ever know. I grew as a person and a Christian just from being around them. I looked up to them, relied on them, confided(sp) in them, and learned from them.

I miss them. I am praying for them all.

I think I am going to accept the voluntary severance package being offered at work and leave my job.

I want to move to the IT field anyway.

I will know tomorrow at 8:00 am if I went through with it or not.

The power supply in my main computer died yesterday between noon and 1:00 PM. I replaced it today. All is well again :-)
